Simplifies splitting the bills before and during vacation

All my friends use this app for splitting the expenses.

No return on unaccepted payments—Splitwise claimed the money would be retired to me on 12/21 (came out of my checking on 12/7) and it hasn’t been returned by 12/29. Absolutely frustrating and ridiculous to set up group splits. Will never use this again and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Limits you to three entries per day. Why? I don’t need to pay pro just do some basic feature.

But I’ve never seen an app where you have to see an ad for every action you take? Like every time you add expense and cap your expense? Why do you have to make the free version nearly unusable? Think about user experience first maybe?

Horrible can't connect to Venmo or apple pay in the free version. Would rather use other apps for splitting and paying

I had a group of girls try to use it to split expenses and even though multiple people submitted expenses the payments all went to one person so we cancelled everything and switched to venmo

It takes forever to get your funds once your friends have settled what they owe you. Better to use Venmo or PayPal. It’s been several days, and I’m still waiting for my money to post!!!!

This app is not functional for keeping track of household shared expenses, which is basically all it is supposed to do. There’s no way to see an itemized list of expenses and pay each separately - instead it pools everything together, leading to a lack of transparency. If you’re not a person who cares about how much money you’re spending and on what, maybe this works. But if not, stick to Venmo.

Used to be good but with subscription and all, it’s the worst app now! I avoid it now
