This app has been a around since my first iPad, which works perfect, but totally unsupported for many years. Anyways this app kicks butt in all that it does. Download it, purchase it, even if construction is not your profession, if you have a wife with a honey-do list and a house without an HOA it’s enough of a reason to get this fine app!

App is definitely a good start, especially for DIY'ers. Techniques change, but the base material does not. Great info. I would like to see some updates, tips, and tricks as well.

Not good it's just a manual from the 60's old information

This Old House (1934) has been my family's residence for 25 years. After 26.5 yrs of marriage and 3 kids, the weasel left both house and family in disrepair. I was on my way to being a depressed, displaced homemaker. This app is giving me the knowledge, courage and competence I need to upgrade my own house, obtain Residential Contractor licensure, become self-supporting and come to the aid of women like me.

A ton of useful information for the common do it yourselfer! I haven't found anything about this app that I don't like.

Great app,reasonable price, user friendly,and comes with useful calculator. but much of framing is outdated by todays standards.

Great tool

Very basic and not much help to someone that has any knowledge of construction.

This app is only worth it if you purchase the add on calculators. The rest of the information is extremely basic and somewhat outdated. If you are trying to learn how to build a better idea would be to get the book "Modern Carpentry". On the other hand, the calculators that come with this app (addon's) are extremely useful for the amateur and probuilder.
