Haven’t had this app for long, but I already love it. I love being able to determine exactly when my Mac shuts down.

It runs, but twice I’ve set the timer to go to sleep in an hour, and come back in just under an hour to find over 40 minutes left on the clock. I wish it worked, but it doesn’t.

Sometimes you just want to have your Mac restart or shutdown. This app does it well and with just enough options. No bloat, no frills, just a very good app to do a simple job. I use it daily and it perfoms flawlessly.

I’m currently using version 1.1 on Mavericks. It works fine shutting down my MacPro while I fall asleep listening iTunes radio. The application is very basic and simple to use, which is ok, but It does not have an option to create a shortcut for the Menu Bar (upper bar next to the clock). Make sure to adjust your “Energy Saver” settings to avoid the computer falling asleep before time, and save/close applications from Office or iWork since this will hold the computer from shutting down. iShutdown will still shutdown your Mac on sleep mode, or with the laptop's screen flapped down-closed even when there are applications running. No license code required after purshace.

I have no idea why after a while snow leopard and lion stop going into sleep mode but appreciate having this app in the app store. It's very simple to use and it works so I give it 5 stars.
