  • Fantastic App

First, let me start this off by stating what is stated in every review. I have never written a review before and honestly felt I had too with this app. Ive been using for a few months and already starting to see a huge difference. Lost a good amount of weight and it feels 100 percent natural. It feels so freeing not having to worry about my weight and having all the changes come naturally. The education piece of this app is awesome and literally unmatched. The knowledge I have gained from this app has allowed me to confidently navigate grocery shopping. meal planning as well as everyday challenges with motivation. If you have tried different things and nothing has stuck I highly recommend giving this app a go. I know the cost is a bit offsetting, but frankly they know what they are offering and you get what you pay for (losing weight and keeping it off for good !!!)
  • Bring back food look up

I’ve had noom for 3 months and I really enjoy it and it’s helpful. But the app updated on my iPad and food look up isn’t an option in the menu anymore. I’m so glad I didn’t update on my phone. I utilize the food look up tool on a very regular basis and it’s an integral part of my food planning. Why was it taken away?

I have tried them all and so far this program is the best one. I highly suggest this program. You learn discipline and learn from past mistakes.
  • Problems with Technical group

I have gotten at the end of the program and now my program got locked into the Library. I wanted to get out being locked into the library. I went to the Technical group to get out and they wanted to know the last four digits of my credit card that I paid my membership. I had to replace my credit card due to hacking of my credit card. I do not remember my last four digits. I cannot get to the information on line being locked into the library. They would not help until I give them the four digits. I have had Noom for 3 or 4 years but may be dropping the Noom account because of lack of help. This does not seem very well planned to help people. Yes, I had success but now this is a real problem with working with the program.
  • Sneaky business practices

The product was presented as “satisfaction guaranteed “ but they denied a refund when requested. Also, they make cancellation difficult and confusing, with many attempts to change your mind. Why cant they just do business honestly?
  • Recent Update glitchy

    3
    By Catchicago9
Since the last update, the daily lessons are glitchy. It won’t let me listen to them, and even though I’ve read the same lesson in full for multiple days in a row, that same lesson populates the next day and I start over with it. The app is fine overall. Some things aren’t intuitive to find. Content is good enough, with lots of repetition of keywords and catchphrases about the psychology involved in weight loss and habit change.
  • Be careful with auto-renewal

I used noom for a few months but ended up finding something that worked better for me. I forgot that noom auto renews and failed to cancel the program prior to renewing. I hadn’t used noom in several months (maybe even longer). As soon as I realized it auto renewed, I reached out to try and cancel and see if I could get a refund since I hadn’t used the program in so long. (It was within 1 week of renewal) Most companies will refund a prorated amount of your money if they realize you haven’t used their program in such a long time. Unfortunately for me, noom was unwilling to work with me and I have to pay the full subscription for something I won’t use. Granted noom sent me a code for additional time on their subscription for free, but that has no value to me since I won’t use it anyway. Shame on me for not remembering to cancel sooner. But what a waste of almost $200.

I’ve been stuck paying for this stupid thing for two years I cannot get out of the subscription DO NOT BUY IT the help was not helpful and the recipes sucked.
  • Unhelpful

After being harangued with email offers, I finally gave in and signed up for a “free” trial (for which I was later charged) and joined. Now I have access to some recipes, and…that’s about it. Apparently you pay for someone to tell you what colors foods are, but nothing about what that means or how to eat. There are some “mindfulness” exercises that you could easily find elsewhere and some articles stating the obvious (e.g., you need to stay motivated, duh), but nothing that I haven’t heard before. Despite all the (obviously fake) 5-star reviews, this is a waste of time and money, and I feel cheated.
