Not noticing a difference when upscaling spatial video

This doesn't actually do anything. Every time you try to upscale to 8k it crashes.

Would be great if we could see at least an estimate of the time needed for it to be completed

As other have said, the results are nearly instant but are about the same as just increasing the window size. Things don't seem clearer, just bigger. Recently, a bug has been introduced where the exports won't play in other applications, so I can no longer watch the videos this produces. An update purports to fix this, but the issue remains. So, for now it's a free/$9.99 window resizer which produces videos you can't watch. For ten dollars I'm not mad. I think there is a lot of potential here and I'm interested in seeing where it goes. That said, I hope the export bug is fixed sooner rather than later because as of now, it's just broken.

Really impressed with the results and for such a reasonable price. It’s one of the uses for AI I can get behind.

The app is really simple to use: simply drop a compatible video file (.mp4, .m4v, .mov) onto the app and it will offer to upscale it proportionately. It is surprisingly quick too (though this is presumably because of the hardware acceleration). The only feedback I have for the developer is that they should add some options or settings that can be adjusted, if at all possible. Well worth the $9.99!

I tried it on a couple of old 480 videos I had. The outcome was the same as when I enlarged them. I don't think this app does anything.

I used the app to upscale some of my old videos from 480p to 2K, and the results were impressive.

Tried with several videos ranging from 360p to 720p. Comparing side by side there are some visual differences but this doesn't produce videos that are any better than just making the window larger.

Sure, you could get slightly better quality with a different upscaler… but in the time it would take you to upscale one episode, you could have batched an entire season with Unsqueeze!
