I’m really enjoying the app so far, but when I cook at home it struggles with identifying sauces (totally understandable), so I’m wondering if there’s a way I could take a picture of the recipe I used to cook the food, and it could calculate with that? Right now, I’m copy-pasting them in, which works, but I’d love to be able to take a screenshot or picture and rely on OCR to help me out! Thanks for considering!
  • Great way to track

Impressed with the accuracy of snapping a shot of my food. Would give it 5 stars if they included your fiber intake
  • It just isn’t accurate

for one day, I tried using Cal.ai and it just did not work at all, I went to take a picture of the meal and I had all the ingredients in the picture and I looked at the macros and it was completely wrong and they had all the ingredients completely wrong and it was simple thing like eggs and sausage. This app is fake. Don’t waste your money, it’s not accurate.

If I'm going to spend a few dollars on a diet app every month, it better at least let me track my sugar and iron intake as well as just macros
  • I gained 10 lbs while using this app

The calorie estimates are inaccurate. The “report” button is broken so there is no way to give feedback using the app. I wish I had not bought it.
  • Terrible accuracy

I had high hopes for this app. But too good to be true was exactly what I experienced. I tested it out with a handful of mixed nuts. First it only counted the cashews (3) and when I tried to correct it with inputting one serving of mixed nuts it then told me I had 20,000 of mixed nuts. Sorry two strikes you’re out Cal AI. Only wish I could get a refund for my purchase.
