Ok, I dealt with the subscription articles, got super annoyed at your website and its non-dismissible pop-ups, but the last straw is this app. When I launch it, white screen & nothing! Delete and reinstall, maybe works once or twice. No longer - deleting the app. At least I won’t get the stupid “read the latest news” popup EVERY DAY at 6:03 am!!! Duh! I have your app, I would read the news, but the app doesn’t work!!!

Stop the ads with sound!

App works well, but autoplay ads with sound are becoming a big problem that’s preventing me from reading in some public places. Really need a way to automute.

The Detroit News is very high-quality journalism. Unfortunately, recent app changes for subscribers that pay for Ad Free has broken the app and now delivers ad content. The app often freezes. It’s very frustrating.

Very invasive ads. Michigan Lottery ad pops up repeatedly with a loud annoying song. Not the thing you want when you’re in a room with other people.
