  • Slow, laggy, and inconsistent

    It’s the best way to order McDonald’s but the app is slow to load, laggy, and freezes a few times before it works. It’sometimes won’t let you select “Review and Pay” simply bc you held your phone wrong. For a $212 billion dollar company you’d think it would be smooth consistent and easy to use. Deals are great and so are rewards but too often does it take me 5min or more to order a single meal simply because the app refuses to work and you give up and just order in the drive thru. It’s not like I won’t keep using it, it’s just always more of a hassle to use than ordering normally.

    Hire better coders because this app is so buggy it’s ridiculous. It does not depend on internet connection. This app lags so bad no matter your connection and McDonalds needs to hire some actual developers for their app. A multibillion dollar company should not have interns doing their apps coding

    I can’t cancel an order placed to the wrong location literally an instant after I place the order and realize I chose the wrong location. I have wasted so much money. Why can’t you have the option to cancel an order within a minute? Or why don’t they ACTUALLY wait for you to be close to the store before they start making it so food doesn’t get wasted? It’s nonsense. It’s just truly nonsense. Nobody wins here. Except I guess the executives who don’t care about the money I lost or the food wasted because they got THEIR money. The app has made it so I’ll never eat at McDonald’s again
