  • Good service. Average app. Consistently bad lag/cache performance…and I’m on 5G!

okay I’m not sure if it’s just me or my phone but when I downloaded the app all was well but as I started to add music to my playlist I went and noticed that it wasn’t there so I refreshed the app and it appeared again but then when I played my songs they would randomly stop or switch over to a completely different song then the one I specifically chose, it’s like the app has a mind of its own like it’s choosing what it wants me to hear. I got a little frustrated so I tried again and it kept telling me “cannot play track “ out of no where so I lost patience because it started tripping out on me. again I’m not sure if it’s just my phone but this app is weird.

Best sounding hi-fi streaming service out there! I have an extremely revealing hi-fi stereo system. Qobuz demonstrates the highest quality, detail, and natural sound compared to the other top services out there. Impressive and highly recommended.

Stupid app. I subscribed, but it still only gives me samples. When I click to subscribe, it tells me I am indeed subscribed. Ok, I have unsubbed and will get a refund.

I used Spotify for years before Qobuz. As someone who makes music as well as someone who enjoys listening to music in detail, the quality of the audio has always been important to me. I knew something was wrong when I upgraded headphones and it didn’t make as much as an impact as I was hoping for, then I realized that the quality Spotify puts out doesn’t actually match the quality you hear in the studio. I was hearing things on my DAW that weren’t as clear when streaming from the service. Then I found Qobuz, and let me tell you, having nice headphones is a waste if you don’t listen in high resolution. Been using Qobuz for a while now and can say that I only ever open the Spotify app to find a song I used to listen to. The clarity and clearness on Qobuz is actually just on a whole level of its own. There is one flaw I noticed, but it’s just because it’s not as big of a service that the catalogue isn’t as full. No big deal.

I pay for all music apps because that’s what I like. Qobuzz was introduced to me by a fellow musician. The audio quality is great and the articles even better. For jazz, I du and classical it’s amazing. Everything punk rock is in here but the algorithm loves to send you into that weird era of 2000s whiny emo. Work on that for me please.

I would appreciate it if the search function was improved, perhaps to a continuously learning semantic search. There are times I’ll slightly misspell a song or even spell a song right, and non-relevant results come up. I would appreciate a quicker UX that is more streamlined, particularly faster load times for songs like Apple Music/Spotify. I would also appreciate if the suggested songs and playlists were more tuned towards my specific music tastes. Currently, my recommendations are very basic.
  • Best Way to Listen to Music.

The selection has always met my needs, there are plenty of choices. The audio quality is fantastic. One of the things I really appreciate is knowing that the artists I support are being compensated more fairly than they would be on most other streaming platforms. I also have peace of mind regarding my data. With the company being based out of EU there is greater transparency that my info isn’t being sold to any and everyone. One of the few paid subscriptions I don’t feel dirty about.

Better quality audio and seemingly curated by humans and not as targeting. Love it.
