    Tried checking in for my vehicle ahead of time and Myka who was “helping” me through chat made it so that I couldn’t check it out online. In a rush I had to sit with someone in person while they went through the process. I drove 20 miles total and got charged $77!!! What a rip off

    This app is literal trash bags. Except trash bags actually serve a purpose. Full of bugs and errors that support can’t help with. You have to contact people over the phone to correct the issues.

    The ‘agree to the u-box terms’ pops up and I agree and continue and it pops back up. And the final bill can’t be zoomed. Give me a dev branch and I’ll fix it.

    I used the app for a rental. During a 5 hour U-Haul rental my phone was in my pocket and the this App sucked 37% of my phone battery’s charge with only 6 minutes of screen usage (data per iOS Settings->Battery).

    The U-Haul app is an absolute disaster. It constantly lags, crashes, changes information on its own, and refuses to save updates correctly. Trying to manage or update a reservation through the app is beyond frustrating. To make things worse, customer service is nearly impossible to work with when trying to fix incorrect reservation details. What should be a simple process turns into hours of wasted time and stress. Definitely not the experience you expect when planning a move.

    Worst truck rental experience I’ve had. Rented a truck from Salt Lake City to Phoenix and got charged extra miles over about 10 miles, which is ridiculous for a long-distance move. I returned the truck Monday at the drop-off location like I was supposed to. Then the next day customer service called asking if I still had the truck because apparently they couldn’t figure out where it was. How does a company lose track of a truck after it’s been returned? Total lack of communication and organization. Between the extra charges and the confusion after drop-off, this company was stressful to deal with from start to finish. Would not rent from them again.
