  • Good idea but needs serious development

    App constantly has issues. Over 1/2 of the uploads have issues, get stuck and yo have to restart/fiddle with over and over. UI is not intuitive. It easy to see status of uploads, or to clean up local video. Watch has to be on same version or they won’t support any issues. Several times the watch says it’s recording, then you find out the hard way it didn’t record at all. Has happened many times. Speed accuracy is off many times - far off. Line calling also not reliable. You can’t ever view raw video through app, only processed. Sometimes you want to see something in between points and you can’t. Support is very slow. If you ask them three questions you will only get one answered so you have to ask over and over. And it’s like pulling teeth to get that one answer. Cost is too expensive, especially if you don’t use all that much. Then if you don’t renew every year, you lose all your videos unless you down load the raw video, would take hours.

    Everything is great, but the forehand backhand filters and vertical frame editing are clearly for right hand players only. Hopefully the developers can soon add a flag for all the hard coded feature binding to the right hand and roll out.

  • Fine for recording AI scoring is trash.

    iPhone only is a negative, and support is terrible. When the AI scoring misidentifies points is very hard to fix, especially when it thinks the game went long than it did. Shot analysis is okay, but if you’re trying to track stats it’s pretty much impossible if you can’t get the score correct. Without a better way to fix scores save your money if you want stats.

    This used to be my favorite tennis app with great features that I’ve consistently used over the past 8 years. Unfortunately the app no longer provides any info other than swing count on the free plan due to a bug. Hope it’s fixed soon since it’s a great app!

  • Constantly taking away features

    I think I’m about done with this app. I have the semi-pro subscription and in the span of just a few months they’ve dramatically reduced the number of recording hours and now taken away filtering when viewing my videos. But I still paid for one year subscription. And no mention of the changes in the app updates, just “improvements”. Very sketchy, buyer beware. UPDATE: While I appreciate the response that hours were bumped back up, shot filtering taken away so have to watch an entire video with no ability to analyze specific shots. So again, my comments stand about taking features away from semi-pro subscribers.

  • Recording doesn’t work

    Did everything right, video was showing when playing. Now it’s just black, no recording. No stats, nothing.

  • App cannot clear its storage after processing

    SwingVision, an app where you upload a 10 GB file, process it, offload it, and then ask yourself why it’s storing 20 GB of data with no way to delete its cache except to uninstall and reinstall. (And yes, that’s what their tech support told me to do. I pay for Pro and that’s what they told me to do.)

  • Cannot watch / download the match

    I have not yet used this to analyze an actual match, but I can see what a wonderful tool it will be. Using it only with the ball machine or practicing my serve, I’ve learned a lot. It’s easy to use and I can’t wait to use it in set play, singles, and doubles.
