This is a well-written and well-researched novel by the author of the Maiden Warriors of Rivenloch. I thoroughly enjoyed this highly descriptive story of a Female Laird of Scotland, her sisters and two cousins trials as sword carry fighters. Highly recommend to read. I read in one sitting; couldn’t put it down.

Another awesome book by Campbell. I liked bride of fire a little more but this one kept me entertained throughout the whole book. Definitely a five star book!
