    What a roller coaster of a ride reading this book is. Kane works for the mob and Ashlin knows that, but she falls in love with him anyway. And after a night together he disappears. When he shows up again 15 months later Ashlyn does not tell him that her baby is actually his. Zeke is trying to force Ashlyn to work for him, but she has no idea how bad he really is. He dresses nice, so she thinks he has changed since the scum he was in high school. Zeke is bad. Really, really bad. So much worse than Kane. When Kane finds out about Zeke, things really start to hit the fan. And there’s no way that Kane is going to let Zeke get his hands on Ashlyn. A book that makes you feel like you’re about to explode the whole time you’re reading it. Really good.

    Kane’s story was the one I was most excited for so far in this series and it was more than worth the wait! As you can expect from this author, their story is well written and will definitely keep you glued to your reader. Both main characters are well developed and I especially liked Ashlynn’s strength and no-bs attitude. Ashlynn and Kane had an explosive chemistry and hard road to travel to get to their second chance at HEA but it was definitely worth it. I’m loving the dark world this author created and can’t wait for more! I received an advanced copy of this book from author and am voluntarily leaving my honest review.

    Kane goes back to his small hometown thinking to put a period to his old life and his old girlfriend Ashlynn. But seeing her has him remembering what they had but threw away because he left. The two has a strong physical attraction and they can’t control their feelings. But the way he had just up and left had hurt her and left a lot of baggage for them to work through. But being the man he is now he doesn’t talk about feelings but if he wants a future with Ashlynn he had better learn or he will miss out on the best thing he ever had! I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
