Great book and storyline. Love the characters and world building. Could not put it down. Well written and fantastical.

Great book slow start but very riveting to the end.

I almost gave up on this book MANY times! But I’m very glad I stuck to it! 100% worth it imo ❤️

I wanted to like this book and made a huge effort to keep an open mind, but it was just a huge disappointment. The way things play out situationally are incredibly unrealistic (this is taking into account the world and setting). Events play out in ways that are so illogical they pull you out of the world entirely. The female lead is frustratingly inconsistent. She is weak and naive at times when she shouldn’t be, then suddenly overpowered when it doesn’t fit or make sense. The writing is clunky, the romance feels forced, and I kept having to convince myself to be pulled in. I think the main issue is that events seemed written backward, as if the author had specific scenes in mind and bent the characters and logic to make them happen, no matter how unrealistic it felt.

4 stars because it felt a bit repetitive & the plot was obvious to me but still a great read nonetheless!

This is an interesting story line with imagination. I mostly enjoyed the book, but at times was slow moving kind of like life sometimes. I appreciate the imagination of this author.

Characters are funny and book moves well with storyline. Thoroughly enjoyed it and couldn’t put it down. Def did not disappoint

A jaw dropper. I haven’t enjoyed a book like I did this one in a very long time. Full of twists and turns. I couldn’t put it down.
