It was in June 2017. I did a keynote in San Antonio about my Ironman World Championship dream that I had in 1989. I decided to put together my “Life Lessons of an Ironman Triathlete” book together, as this rolled nicely with my keynote. I wanted people, athletes, women, men, to grab my book and have my lessons reflect on their life, whether they were trying to lose 10 lbs, start a new job or relationship, or start a business. After 11 Ironman Triathlons (when I wrote the book), I had many lessons to share. Until Ironman Triathlon, number 12, “The Rest of the Story.”
