This book was really good I couldn’t put it down sometimes because I wanted to read the next chapter. Can’t wait to read more by this author.

Great mystery and I loved this storyline.
  • Nowhere Safe

FBI agent goes home. Etc. But the part that is different- the serial killer, the plot, is really good. Keeps your attention, moves along, has a surprise killer really delivers a great triller. PBD

Great plot twists. Interesting sidelines, enjoyed: the glass ceiling, the interaction between all the guys in the protagonist, the one small hint about the sister without making this book at cliffhanger, realistic view of some people’s personas.
  • Boring

Why would you make the main character such a b? True turnoff. I skipped a lot and still wasted my time to finish it. Not interested in any more of her series.
  • Good FBI mystery

Harley Cole is an FBI agent that is placed on leave for not being a team player. She goes back home to New Mexico only to be asked by local office to act as consultant on a murder case, the body being found in an abandoned mine. The search is on for the elusive murderer. She has a very strained relationship with her father that preys on her mind while working the case. Plenty of twists and turns! Highly recommend.

I disliked Harley Cole. She’s a self-centered, arrogant know-it-all. The story itself was interesting, but it was difficult getting past her rudeness and superior attitude.
  • Heart Pounding action!
