this read was very short but so, so compelling. there’s a lot of room for symbolic interpretation, especially when connected to present-day issues; i’ll certainly think about this writing for a while.

In "The hunger artist" we can find Kafka's writing style condensed in a delightful short story. It may be like reading "The metamorphosis"; however, Kafka's thoughts described through a human character make the story stronger and more intense.
