Original Book Plot:

She seeks refuge in a small mountain town and begins falsifying identity papers for Jewish children fleeing to neutral Switzerland. However, erasing people comes at a cost, and Eva realizes that she must work with a mysterious, handsome forger named Rémy to preserve the real names of the children who are too young to remember their own identities.
When Rémy goes missing and their resistance cell is betrayed, the records they keep in The Book of Lost Names become even more important in remembering the truth...
