The classic who did it trope is always a great read I was thrown off greatly when i found out who actually was the culprit. I can say this whole book had ben on edge and was a topic of conversation I had with others!

Good story and kept my interest but somewhat confusing…would give it a 7 out of 10.

Moved slow at times but kept me reading. Interesting assortment of characters. Ending leaves me wanting more-but not enough to pay for the next book.

This book is full of suspense, mystery, comedy and heart wrenching moments. As always Denise Grover Swank wrote a great being to a new series of books.

I loved loved loved more with James Malcom. Harper is a great strong character with plenty of flaws, love it!

I needed to take a full day off work just to read this book! It was such a great mystery and had me down to the last chapter trying to figure it out!

Denise does it again with her well written mystery! We meet Harper who is a disgraced ex-detective. She ends up in our old friend from The Rose Gardner series James Malcolms bar. The story keeps you wanting more and guessing who you can trust. Definitely worth the read!
