    Aaron and Jenn were great characters throughout the story. The story starts with Aaron being suspended from a few games for his pro hockey team. We get to know him quite well as it happens and what he does when he gets home. His dad arrives and asks him to go to an auction banquet with his stepmom as his dad cannot go last minute. Jenn has hopes in the fashion world and we meet her as she gets ready for the event to be a server in a dress chosen to be auctioned off. She is not normally a server as she works more selling and fixing dresses to work her way up. Not going to lie, the way she describes interacting with customers is like "Say Yes to the Dress" on TLC. We read both of their sides meeting for a moment then how it changes to them leaving. Jenn makes a few assumptions based on who Aaron interacts with, but he looks for her at the end instead of just going home. Pizza bring them together and the story really begins. I really enjoyed reading it and look forward to the next Summer Cooper book I read!. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

    This book was so fun to read! I love the characters. Jenn is a down-to-earth, regular everyday person trying to make it in the world and figure out who she is. Aaron is a bit older than Jenn and is already successful as a hockey star. His reputation isn't so great but there's a side to him that he keeps hidden. We see him realizing growth in various relationships in his life. This love story makes you believe that there really can be such a thing as love at first sight. This is a quick read and a page-turner for sure. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Misunderstandings; a health scare; a mind-blowing and life-changing one night all adds up to a delightful read about the rich and famous and a Cinderella-type girl that likes the simple things.
