My first Poirot read…

I’ve watched every Poirot dramatization and most of them many times. But this is the first time I’ve read one. It’s an all together different experience to read the exact words and atmosphere as dictated by the great author Agatha Christie. Although you’ve seen the film adaptation it doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy the actual book.
Great read

For my first mystery novel it was a great introduction. The novel allows you to connect with/insert yourself with Hastings. Trying to understand the detectives thoughts and choices is truly challenging and even a little annoying. But it an unexpected and unforgettable way.

I saw the TV version of this some time ago, so thought I remembered the outcome, but Christie brought in so many plot twists I doubted my memory and was able to enjoy the suspense!
Loved it!

My family all rejoiced when I finally finished this book so they didn’t have to listen to me try to guess the killer and motive every 10 minutes. This book was so well written and I couldn’t wait to read what happened next!!!

I absolutely loved it! It keeps you guessing up until the very end and is never at all dull. I finished it in a couple of days and immediately started another one, Agatha Christie’s writing is phenomenal!
