  • Can be VERY ANNOYING

Started decent, then it got bizarre, then abstract, then fantastical, then strange, then outlandish, then just sloppy. Overall not tooooo bad but be warned, and I cannot stress this enough, the character “He Anxia” (played by Baoqiang Wang) is beyond annoying and obnoxious. I cannot imagine how the director or actor thought that playing him that way would be a good choice. His voice, his mannerisms, his gestures. Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING about him is ANNOYING to the point of infuriating. Had I not paid for the movie I would have turned it off right away.
  • Too Much Going On

The plot involves too many characters and tries to cover too much territory in order to convey a simple message. The Kung Fu Masters are interesting, and their skills convey great power, yet they all are very oddly vulnerable. The lead monk comes off way too silly and emotional.
