just really awful, bad acting and worse writing. i would rather watch golf than waste two hours of my life like this again

It’s so bad and shallow it’s almost funny. But unfortunately not funny. Stupid dialogue, idiotic script. There is no acting. It’s like a school play but worse. With all this budget I wonder what the writers and director smoked. Super disappointing. 6.99$ rental is a joke.

How do you get financing and people to work on a project like that ? How does this even land on iTunes ? What kind of people can possibly give a 5 stars to this ?

Okay, so I normally write reviews that offer some ray of sunshine for those who read reviews that just say "this is trash". I can't this time. This is trash. For starters, the plot is only JUST better than a Michael Bey movie but, when I saw Saban in the opening credits, I didn't expect much more. The characters (and there are TOO many) are flat, the plotlines are convoluted at best and they only sort of resolve themselves. The acting is bad to awful (it varies throughout the movie) with some of the main cast offering slightly less than flat performances only to later throw them away with OVER-acting. The ONLY bright spot is Temuera Morrison (Jango Fett) but even he does stuff in this movie that seems to be out of the blue. The special effects are the SOLE reason that I gave it two stars (it's visually pleasant but not overly good), leaving out audio - because the ray guns of the aliens use the 70's Battlestar Galactica blaster sound. You know it's cheap when you hear 70's sound effects. Now production? It sucked. It's the little things (SPOILER!!!): main character in a coma, awakened by bucket of water, takes off bandage and - TA DA - no injury underneath! Oh, the miraculous curitive properties of Aussie water! This is just one example of how this movie just...fell flat. I've seen better direction of commercials, the story seemed like they pieced it together with a different person writing each page, the acting was so bad I cringed and battle scenes were SO amazingly unrealistic and bad, they were a distraction. The special effects were too nice to turn this movie into a Mystery Science Theater 3000 parody fest but, at my next party, I'm gonna try. Don't rent this. Don't buy this. Heck, don't WATCH this. Just read the blurb and imagine what the film would have been like. You'll do a better job in your head.

Absolutely terrible

THIS IS A TOTAL GARBAGE MOVIE....A COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY....PEOPLE SHOULD BE HUGELY ASHMED OF BEING PART OF THIS CRAP FULL OF BS.....

I made the mistake of renting this. It's similar to watching an after school special on Lifetime, but with aliens.
