Gandhi is 1 of the best films to have ever been made in the 1980s. About a man who's wisdom and trust in preserving peace for all not just for his people but people of the World. The first time i saw this i was 13 or 14, it was during a World History class, and the teacher said this film really moved him and after it was done i saw why. His life was to live by his God's will, he chose (as did MLK) to preach on non-violence to win the battles. Gandhi was the inspiration behind many of MLK's words, he believed that non-violence would work. RIP Gandhi, your words of wisdom are still here

Many peoplle don't know that this movie set a Guinness World Record when they filmed the Funeral Scene at the begining of the movie. Over 300,000 extras where used in that scene.
