This genre went out of style about 1958. The script is lamentable. The concept is fataly flawed.

bugs and scrap metal and lousy actors. Not worth watching.

Like a good sci fi. This was not great, kinda boring to be honest. But not worst I've seen.

I think the reviews are a bit hardhearted… I’ve seen this one at least 3 times… it’s fun… Carrie-Anne is such a fine actor… If you like Sci-Fi, I bet you’ll like it.

If you can make it through the opening credits without laughing, your more forgiving then I am. Cringe worthy narration and dialogue, rote set up and awful acting. Worth seeing just for a who’s who of up and coming actors of the time right before they imploded. But hey, the Mentalist is still on so maybe Simon Baker has had the last laugh.

I have no idea why it got so bad rateings i really enjoyed this movie. Everytime it comes on tv i watch it it next time i go buy videos i might by it .

Great sci fi flick! If you like sci fi this is no freejack!

This movie is a steaming pile. I fell asleep less than half way through woke up to some dribble narration at the end to try explain away out of a bad story Please don't fall for the iTunes rating system use a alternate movie review site to pick your movies, after the effort I will not be caught out again.

Although some have reviewed this through rotten tomatoes as dull and so on, I found this movie to be quite the contrary. The special effects were terrific, the cast was well thought out and it was fun to watch. I would love to see this in an HD format eventually but might have to wait a while.. I like Val Kilmer anyway so his roll as the unexpected savior was cool.

Yet another bad rating from Rotten Tomatoes. I totally love this movie. I watch it EVERY time it's on TV and finally decided to splurge and buy it here on iTunes. All of the characters are impressively well concieved and the acting itself is especially first rate. Even though its set in the near future all of the technology shown with the possible exception of AMEE is very believable. All in all a totally cool SciFi flick to anyone who enjoys the genre.
