Renee Zellweger, is a one of a kind actress that doesn't come along often enough. All the players in this movie definitely pull it off, and make the entire movie great from start to a terror filled finish. If you enjoy watching 1st rate actors ala Renee Z., for the sure enjoyment and terror of it, you will not be disapointed.

I do not understand critics not liking this movie. I usually agree with them but this movie is scary, stylish and very edgy and entertaining making it a first rate classic. Somehow most critics have missed that. One thing I love about it that no scary movies do is good character development especially on renae zellweggers character. There's a metaphoric side to this film about fear itself. And everything's not laid out on the table at the beginning, the story unravels in unexpected ways. Great actors , great acting, great plot, great subplot, great suspense and highly entertaining I think that many greats make this movie nothing short of superb. It's about a supernatural occurence in the real world, even though it's fiction it's one of those movies that dares to go what if?

People r saying the trailer scenes r not in the movie I think it's because they didn't want to give the movie away of who the real villain was so they filmed scenes to make it opera it was something else? Or maybe they originally had two diff versions of the film and decided to release the one that is available now ,studios prob thought the trailer version was to typical

This is one of those films that starts off with a red herring type of plot and then slowly convert into the real plot. I personally think they could have left out the oven scene, didn't like that one but otherwise the entire movie was great.

I really liked this movie however I wished it had actually been like the previews instead of well.... I'm not going to spoil anything so if you have seen both the previews and the movie then you know how they differ

This movie would've gotten 4 stars if the ending had been a little more creative. But I agree with the others who say the movie was really great up until the last scene lol. I still recommend it though, it'll give you a few thrills and suspense.
