Description

Sgt. Jack Grimaldi is a cop who wanted it bad and got it worse - he's fuelled by desire. A veteran cop on loan to the Organized Crime Task Force, Jack watches other people for a living. Once, in the faded past of his youth, it was an important job but now Jack sees that life on the other side of the binoculars has that little extra something - extra sex, extra money, extra excitement - that he is missing.

Oldman makes the movie. Lena Olin is SO sexy in this. She looks so good in this. Good to see Roy Scheider in this too.

I'm not sure why rotten tomatoes gave the film such a low rating. This movie was never met to be intellectually scrutinized because it never tries to be smart. Warning: this movie is for mature educated adults only! (almost guys only) What makes this film great is the characters. I think they're interesting and you want to know what's going to happen to them. How many films have the protagonist and the antagonist get their up-and-comings. You do have to be in the mood for this film. Late at night, couple beers comfortable couch HD television along with lots of patients and with nothing else better to do. Just sit back don't try to think too hard and enjoy the movie for what it is and in my opinion it's quite satisfying. I am disappointed that it does not have Dolby Digital 5.1 surround. After all it is an action movie.

I enjoyed the movie for what it delivered. What I don't enjoy is having to deal with Rotten Tomato reviews. Seriously, let's leave movie reviews to iTunes viewers. Those are the reviews I pay attention to any day. If I wanted rotten reviews I'd go to their website.
