Description

“Will Ferrell shines” (Detroit News) as Nick, a career salesman who loses his wife and his job in the worst day of his life. Faced with his life imploding, Nick puts it all on the line – or, rather, on the lawn – as he moves himself and all his possessions to his front yard. Based on the short story by Raymond Carver, EVERYTHING MUST GO is “Will Ferrell as you’ve never seen him” (Rolling Stone) in this unflinching comedy about what happens after life falls apart.

  • Don’t blame the movie.

You can’t blame the movie, which in my opinion was very well written and beautifully acted, for it being labeled a comedy on here. They probably saw Will Ferrell and immediately labeled that. Yes this movie is a drama, but it’s a great one, Ferrell’s character has so many layers to him, and you want to see him do well despite all of his mistakes.

I really enjoyed this movie. I especially enjoyed the acting from Biggie Smalls Son C.J Wallace.

This is a good movie. It wasn't much of a comedy. It had some very small funny points but not enough to call it a comedy. More of a drama but still a good movie. Maybe I didn't the humor in the movie but anyway still a decent movie.
  • Not my kind of humor

If this was funny then I missed it. Maybe I have typecast Ferrell. When his movie is billed as a comedy, I have a certain expectation. Either my expectations were wrong or this movie is wrongly classified. Other than that...it illustrates a couple redeeming moments.
  • NOT VERY FUNNY

This movie is not that funny, it is more sad than funny in my opinion. There are some little haha moments but nothing hilarious. If you need to pass some time this movie is okay.

Thought Will Farrell was great in his laugh out loud comedies life Stepbrothers and Anchorman and once again proved himself here. Great movie that could have had a better ending…..to subtle
  • Still Great, even though it wasn't a full blown comedy - too bad you can't rent anymore

If you're looking for the ridiculously funny Will Ferrell, you will not find it in this movie. What you will find is a great movie and great acting by Will and cast. I watched this when it was a rental however now it's a purchase only movie. Not worth the purchase but if they put it on rental again it would definitely be worth it.
  • No other way to describe it but bad

I usually love Will Ferrel movies, but I think he should never be in a movie that is not a comedy. This movie was sad, with main characters you had no choice but to feel bad for.
  • Didn't think he had it in him

Always thought he was a funny guy and thats it, never accomplish any serious acting like this one but I was wrong. This movie is pretty good and gives him another chance to be something else instead of the same o same o he has been for these past years.
