Goon is the best hockey movie ever. It’s funny, it’s serious, most importantly it has heart and soul. Sorely under appreciated, Goon is a hidden gem of a movie and I can’t recommend it enough.

I know that sounds strange, but this very violent, extremely coarse movie is actually extremely nice. If you love hockey, Canada, and love stories this is the movie for you. Seann William Scott is painfully nice and Alison Pill is sluttily funny. They’re both terrific. Didn’t expect to like this movie this much.

Takes "Slap Shot" to a whole new level. Great, great stuff in this one!

Good acting with a decent story and a satisfing end. The violence needs to be in the movie, but the idiot Hocky Loving friend could have been left out. Worth the rent.

This movie was a surprise and a pleasant one at that. Great characters and acting with a equally good plot. I highly recommend it.

When I saw the very end of this movie to watch real footage I had to watch it over again, I loved this flick, a lot of fun. Feel good movie!
