This flick is difficult to review and give a fair grade. It's like dissecting a fetal pig in the 10th grade - how the crap would I know how to carve up a cryogenically frozen, formaldehyde reeking barn animal? By extension, how would I know how the heck I would behave if given a genie lamp that materializes paper cash only upon severe physical and mental torture? In essence, what we are seeing is that money is the root of all kinds of evil (look it up - the Bible does not say the root of all evil). Now, there were some very amusing scenes and the two leads are good actors and keep your eyes riveted - except when crime and punishment make them pay and pay and pay with all kinds of bloody bludgeoning. The concept was a good one, but the process toward execution was just like the protagonists - very painful. There was some redeeming value, but by the end you were just welcoming the chance to see any type moral behavior. May I ask you this: Is Alexis the most beautiful creature you have ever seen? Yes, yes she is.

I enjoyed this movie. I thought it was good and well thought out. Money means different things for different people; and the movie explores this in so many ways. An intelligent film with an amusing premise. I would recommend it to a friend.

This film presents a premise that we have yet to see in films. It challenges us to think and wonder what we would do if we were in the same circumstance. Juno temple is simply amazing, her performance shows she is one to be reckoned with! Look out for her!

I love everything I have seen Juno temple in so I was drawn to this film. I loved it. The cast worked so well together and it was really funny but had its sad serious moments too. Makes you think how far you are willing to go for your so called dream life. Would recommend to any of my friends and plan on buying this.

We loved this movie! It was remarkably enjoyable. I thought the story was intriguing and wasn't sure what to expect. Then my husband and I watched it last night and couldn't stop laughing; it was also touching. It was very, very well done. The acting was so believable. One of the best movies of the year. I'm telling everyone I know.

  • 'The Brass Teapot': Where historical fiction meets black comedy...

'The Brass Teapot' is a fresh indie feature with relatable characters and an imaginative storyline--a compelling take on historical fiction fused with black comedy and reminiscent of 'It's A Wonderful Life' meets 'Bonnie & Clyde'. Mosley cleverly incorporates the mission of The Theosophist Society and the use of the teapot as a metaphor for greed, carefully constructing landmarks as the audience journeys towards self-awareness and altruism. Whether it's witty banter or an endearing moment, Juno Temple and Michael Angarano have great on-screen chemistry that only complements Mosley's creative vision. This is one feature you won't want to miss!
