A self-absorbed film about a liberal hack who was raised by socialist activists who spin a tale of conspiracy with little or no factual basis. He puts 2 + 2 and gets. This is liberal BS. He knows nothing about USSOCOM or JSOC and his lack of knowledge drives this poor attempt at a documentary. The shots of him walking the streets and battlefields in slow motion only fuel his ego.
One sided

After watching this, I was left with perhaps the most succinct summary of a film in recent memory - for me, I can sum it up in one sentence - an utterly one sided view of war and conflict. Very Fox News worthy in it’s biased view of reality.
Talking points (minus essential truth) for the radical left

There's only one thing missing from this film: truth.
War is a dirty business. We are engaged in enemies who use chemical and biological weapons on innocent civilians; use their own women and children as a shield when engaging U.S. and coalition troops; plant bombs and IEDs in civilian marketplaces to kill people who have a different belief in Islam than their own. It would be nice if warfare was kind, humane, surgical, and clean -- but there is nothing nice about war. And we are engaged with an enemy who follows no rules whatsoever in their warfare: they murder and commit mayhem on wounded prisoners; use torture on their religious opponents -- and will stop at nothing to commit the most horrific atrocities.
This is feature is pollyanna-ish in its approach, unfair, lacks essential truth -- and is naive.
5% truth, 95% b.s.
Very Misleading...

Very Misleading… This guy has no idea of what is going on and attempts to make money on a film trying to “expose some secret war”… I would very much like to see him serve but am glad he doesn’t…
Informative

Kudos to the narrator for going out on a limb and bringing to light what most of us probably knew nothing about.

Watch this beautifully fillmed documentary of Jeremy Scahill's JSOC investigation in the Middle East. What's JSOC? Every American should know about JSOC and it's operations. Some reviewers have complained that Scahill's face is in the film too much, but this is his story of his travels and his interviews. Of course, he is in the film a lot. Poetic narration adds to the beauty of the film.
People who like this type of anti-U.S. propaganda ...

might also feel bad about the death of Hitler’s spouse and Goebbel’s kids. Here’s a greeting from their friends:
Kabul, Afghanistan (CNN) -- The Taliban stoned to death a man and a woman in northern Afghanistan for allegedly having an affair, officials said Monday.
The stoning took place Sunday in Dasht-e-Archi district, in the village of Mullah Qali -- a village dominated by the Taliban in Kunduz province.
Disgraceful and inaccurate - a warped view from a spoiled American

Terrible and inaccurate portrayal of the truth. I am in disbelief and disappointed this was actually produced. An embarrassment to America and our troops. This journalist should be tried with treason- no respect , no gratitude and completely false reporting. Such a shame that an "American" (not in my book) with such twisted & warped perceptions can have a film produced and make millions. Anyone who actually believes this fictitious non-sense has no true understanding of sacrifice and love of Country. Unreal
Please be an investigative journalist.
