Ghost Team One

The plot, simply put, is Harold and Kumar meets paranormal activity. Expect to see a few of the usual requirements of any Rated R Horror flick but throw in some crazy stuff that you wonder what happened to you, that you find them absolutely hilarious. The two main leads (Carlos Santos and J.R. Villarreal), may not be recognized from anything you've seen right away, but they do not disappoint. They definitely got a harold and kumar bromance thing going on together (if you dropped harold and kumar in a comedy/horror movie that is) that seems to work nicely and I wouldn't be surprised if they are paired up again. The main female lead in Ghost Team One, is Fernando Romero. She is no stranger to the horror genre. Amongst a handful of other horror films, you will certainly recognize her as the girl who's death gave the blind Jessica Alba's character sight along with some frightening visions in "The Eye" - 2008) She does a nice job of being the sexy girl everyone wants while having a slightly twisted side that makes you hate yourself for wanting. This movie is not a high budget movie so don't go into it expecting blockbuster horror but if you got a thirst for some comedy-horror or love paranormal activity type movies you will definitely want to see Ghost Team One.

I seldom see a spoof movie that catches me off guard as this did. It was laugh out loud funny and had me in stitches through most of the film. The range of Fernanda Romero, the female lead (and is insanely HOT), who plays the straight character perfectly to the two male leads' chemistry to the hilarious character Chuck are all awesome. The fact that they did this with virtually no budget impressed me. Everyone was good and you could taste the improv, must have been a fun film to be in! Go see it!

Ok, for one....for any of the reviews that got more than one star, they had to have been paid reviewers. This seems to be the quality of movies these days. This highly damages my IQ and really...it's a shame to know this was made in America! I gave it my 1/2 hour reason of doubt but even the first 5 min and i could feel the "dumb" in it.
