  • This Film Was Relatable For Me

(Do not read if you haven’t watched the film, or go ahead and read if you don’t mind having information on some of the things that happen in the film.) What makes films and art in general interesting and meaningful for consumers and viewers of entertainment is when the message is something relatable. If you’ve ever been in love with someone as a young adult, you’ll face challenges and trials. This film did well with making me laugh, almost cry and feel like the creators understood something universal about relationships. You can’t know the future, you can’t go back and change the past. When things get rough people tend to runaway. This film touched base on scenarios, on reflective regrets and on the difficulties of wanting to pursue your life for yourself and wanting to have love too: but the trick is that love isn’t always a happily ever after, it also not always “all is said and done”, “solved, or exactly the way you imagined or hoped for things to be, so I believe the creators of this film had those ideas in mind and I grasped the concept well. I also enjoyed the cinematography. You’ll laugh and feel a connection if you’ve ever been cheated on and hurt by someone you genuinely loved.

It can be confusing at first but any person that has gone through a breakup and loved a person that they just couldn't be with, needs to watch this music. It's beautiful and it's honestly such a good movie that is so not talked about but should be. 5 stars!

I would give it a four star because this movie is certainly not for everyone but i didn’t want to soft sell it. The movie moves along seamlessly despite having only two characters. The romance is definitely personality specific but all in all its worth watching purely for the superb character development.

If you only take the premise of this movie into account, you’d be expecting a great movie. Instead we have a hell of a boring movie, with a lot of talk and confusing situations. Too much talk and too much pretentious! Bad script, bad cast and bad direction! I snoozed in several parts of the movie, and didn’t miss that much. Save your money, do not rent this movie!

A totally gut wrenching, funny, intelligent, well-acted sci-fi/romance.
  • Ridiculous

A prime example of an emotionally abusive relationship, hidden by the sense of "uncompromising love" and "intellectual conversations." It's plain cheesy, and the drama hides that it is about an emotionally-draining relationship.

As a huge fan of Indie rom coms, I tend to be quite critical of the ones I choose to watch. Comet exceeded my expectations. The acting was exquisite, and all of the beautiful symmetry between the characters and the plot made this movie my favorite of 2015 so far. I HIGHLY recommend at least renting this film. Happy watching. xx
