Description

BLOOD IS THICKER THAN WATER Darkness, mystery, legend – these are the whispers that echo through time regarding Atlantis. A kingdom long since forgotten to surface dwellers, it is here that a hidden empire teeters on the brink of war. When a military submarine traversing this remote domain is attacked, Cyborg plunges to the murky depths to investigate the wreckage. What he encounters is a threat powerful enough to rally together the newly formed Justice League. Meanwhile, thousands of feet above the ocean floor wanders the lone drifter Arthur Curry, a man with strange powers who may be the last chance to bridge the ancient Atlantean world and our own. Join Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman and the rest of the Justice League as they face off against Orm, otherworldly weapons and perilous odd. It’s epic chapter from the DC Universe in which mankind’s only hope from the darkness rests upon the guiding light of a man – Aquaman!

Beautifully done, such a great film. Filled with easter eggs for true comic fans. The only problem is superman because HE IS NOT Atlantean and DOES NOT breath underwater… Neither does wonder woman.

DC has struck out with all their live action movies and this just proves they need to stick to the animated world. The action was high, the stakes felt serious, and even Superman had his share of dings during this. Best yet, they made an Aquaman that I actually enjoy. He's not the borish King he always prorayed as. Even if this isn't as epic as the last in the series it's worth watching. The only con I can give it is some of the supporting cast sounded pretty phoned in, at least the majority of the voices were pretty spot-on.
  • Aqua man is cool

Great job WB studio. You actually made aqua man cool. Batman or green lantern didn't do much though. Otherwise I liked better than JL war
  • Aquaman shines!

Aquaman shined thought the movie, whether fighting Black Manta, or working with the league
  • Finally, an Aquaman Movie

While the title says Justice League, Aquaman is actually the central character of this movie, and he does shine in it. I know some people are disappointed with the new DC Continuity, and I am one of them, but I felt that they at least placed some of the parts of New 52 that I am not a fan of to the side where they should be. It's an interesting action flick worth a watch.

This was great to me. Aquaman got to show his strength, he is a very powerful character but for some reason they often write him poorly. This was quite good.
  • Again Why!?!

Terrible voice cast. Horrible pacing. A completely insulting script! And more of The New 52 garbage reworked story!
  • How did you let this slip by?

Lobsters are red AFTER THEY HAVE BEEN COOKED!!! Other than that I liked this adaptation of Aquauman and the Justice League was a lot of fun. I loved how Arthur shows everyone who is boss in the beginning. Wished I could have done that when I was bullied as a kid.
