Very boring and stupid in my opinion. I’m mad because I can’t delete it.

I'm ususally pretty good at guessing the ending to these kind of movies, but with this one, I was way off. It really wasn't much of a thriller for me, based off of the reviews I'm the only person that feels this way. It was interesting, nonetheless.

Orser and Winstead really bring this one home. Nicely done :)

A small, intimate, beautifully executed chamber piece thriller. The sensational performance by Leland Orser draws you automatically into the story from the opening scene to the final frame. His portrayal of a downtrodden, beaten down man (with no hope of regaining his self-respect back from a world that has stolen it from him) is masterful. He brought so many levels to a character that could have come across as one-dimensional. Orser is equaled in power by Mary Elizabeth Winstead's performance of Claire. Winstead has an ethereal quality to her face. She brings a knowing quality yet a lost yearning to her character. Her subtle emotion makes you tremble with unease on whether you can trust her or not. Winstead really delivers on making the viewer question her sincerity or could it be her brainwashed mind speaking. She makes Claire the film's greatest mystery. All the supporting characters are credibly fleshed out by the expert cast. Kudos must go to the production team with the set, lighting, editing, and music score. But especially the writer/director Riley Stearns. He writes believable dialogue, filled with irony and humor. Stearns directs within the claustrophobic atmosphere with a trained eye and roving camera so the drama never becomes stale or repetitive. The final scene in the bathroom reveals twists and turns that will have your mouth gaped open. His terrific screenplay builds to a climax that will leave you questioning your own sanity. It seems the director (of this film about 'cults') wanted to do a little brainwashing himself to the viewers of "Faults." This film is truly goosebumps-inducing!
