I wasn’t sure of what to make of this at first as trailers sometime spoil ALL the funny parts. I had low expectations and was laughing throughout most of the movie. My entire family enjoyed it immensely and that is across a broad range of age groups. This picture worked because of the excellent child acting and their excellent delivery of all their lines both funny and serious. This was a gem in a multitude of mediocrity. It is the day after and we are still laughing about some parts of this movie. Despite the laugh at loud moments most of the time it had touching moments too. I Can’t recommend this movie enough and will most definitely recommend to all of my friends.
  • Not really a comedy

This movie is fantastic and has some really funny moments. Billy Connelly is perfect. But it is really more of a drama. The subject matter is a bit dark and some of the scenes are really hard to watch (especially as a young person whose parents divorced). I'm not saying don't watch it and don't like it, but go into it with an open mind.

About listening to and learning from our kids . About laughter amidst those worst days. A lovely, articulate film performed perfectly (as close to as possible) with the right values.

Excellent performances, brilliant writing . All the characters are genuine, although the story is unique, it is believable, because the people are individuals. This film could have been done very badly with over acting, smartass children, or incompetent parents. None of this here. Excellent film, with a genuine message about what truly matters in life . Bravo. I watched it 5x back to back.

Just finished watching #WWDOIH on iTunes. (Nearest theater was over 2 hrs away.) It is a nice film that was fun to watch. Acting was great. Loved the kids. Storyline was sometimes sad, often funny and overall touching. Cinematography showed beauty of Scotland. I love this movie and am glad I purchased it so that I may see it again as often as I wish. I highly recommend this film.

This movie was good with some sad spot and lots of comedy... Although paying 14 dollars to rent it it was not worth it because it kept pausing and only let me get half way through the movie.

A charming comedy with some sad parts. Definitely worth watching. It’s a sweet movie, and every one of the actors is brilliant. If you watched it looking for something other than what it purports to be, you’re a fool. Don’t listen to reviews with extreme opinions.
