The end of the Revolutionary War is near and Sarah, James, Moses, and Henri are witnessing the formation of America. Sarah visits the Adams family in Massachusetts while John is drafting the state constitution and preparing for a diplomatic mission to Europe and witnesses the pivotal Battle of Yorktown with James. James learns of a possible government overthrow that would see George Washington as king, which pushes him to resign. Ben Franklin finally returns from to America, just in time for the Constitutional Convention and the inauguration of our first president, George Washington.
