Cleverly wrapped in humor and special effects, this show is an eye opener!

I don't quite understand the negative reviews since this show is all about challenging the silly things a lot of us believe that simply aren't true. Like that GMO is evil. I doubt any of the detractors here have actually done proper research. There have been thousands of peer reviewed studies which are pretty conclusive when it comes to the results: the scientific consensus is that GMO's are safe for human consumption. There are plenty of websites you can check from reputable scientific sources which back this up. Eat some GMO food and then vaccinate your children. Both are safe.

Everyone is all butthurt about the genetic food thing. Answer me this, have you ever eaten genetic food that killed you? No? Sure, it may not be completely healthy, but there are always worse things you could eat. Most foods these days are processed, and one day ALL foods may be, and our bodies will have to adapt to it. Adam lists the sources to his information ON THE SCREEN so if you don't think that information is accurate, you have every right to do your own research. If you actually did more research on it, then you would know that genetically modified food isn't entirely harmful to your body. Some people can only afford processed and genetically modified foods. And guess what? Most of the food you eat IS genetically modified! All food with labeling doesn't say whether or not the food you eat is, so you eat this kind of food without even knowing it! Don't turn down a great show simply because one thing he says offends you. If you never want to eat "bad" food ever again, you may as well never eat ever again. Starve, your choice.

I first watched this show on television, where all of the articles from which the facts come from are shown on screen so anyone that chooses to can research for themselves. I really enjoyed this because it separated this show from others like it. The delivery of the information is fun and amusing. I just personally like the show.

As close to Penn and Teller's BS as you can get if you aren't Penn and Teller. Amazingly about the only thing in "tru tv" that doesn't feel like complete crap.

It's not Adam's fault that he's wrong once in a million times. This show should inspire deeper research. Don't just trust everything you see.

This show is great. A fun, concise, and documented skewering of popularly held false beliefs told with the sort of quick cut and fun effects that made Alton Brown so fun to watch for so long. Plus, it provides the fun of seeing the other reviewers comments amounting to "this show was good until it contradicted my fervently held, but non-evidentiary belief". Great stuff.
