This season is next-level television. From an extra-textual level, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s fourth season redefines what network television can be: by breaking up the season into 7/8 episode 'pods,' each with their own overarching plot, storylines move at breakneck speed and flow organically from one set of episodes to the next. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: Ghost Rider, while not my personal favourite, does Daisy Johnson justice as she copes with the aftermath of Season 3's finale. The team's status quo has, yet again, been upturned. Gabriel Luna's Robbie Reyes is a dark, violent addition who operates in a bloody grey area. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: LMD stuffs the middle of the season with some of this series' best work, hands down. The LMD finale, Self-Control, allows Henstridge and Bennet to shine in ways they never have before. The season's final pod, Agents of Hydra, changes the show and stretches the characters to unprecedented places. De Caestecker's performance in the Framework is almost too good to be true. Newcomer Mallory Jansen is unstoppable throughout all 3 sections of this season. Her range and her character AIDA's arc is nothing short of masterful. The season's success is due, in no small part, to Jansen.

Everyone has already used all the words in the english vocabulary to describe how great the series, the writers, the actors, and the photography are in this show. I dont know what else to say, but i enjoyed every episode or every season so far... Im very impressed. Very very impressed.

The thing abut this show is that it always has such a good story and plot each season. After the first season, I thought the show would never be as good as it was in the first season; but bam! They proved me wrong about each season over and over and over and over each time. I hope they keep impressing me exactly the way they are doing things now in the future

I really like this show, but what gets me is the simple medical stuff. In episode three they really couldn't have done simple research to see that to bring someone one back from asystole, you don't shock them? I know it's a little thing, but as a medical professional, it's just dissapointing to see the lack of effort in so many shows.

  • It's Not Often That A TV Series Entertains Better Than a Marvel Movie

It's not often that a TV series entertains me more than a movie. However, since season 1, this TV show has been getting better and better. With a huge twist in the last 'pod' of episodes, Marvel asks a question that we have always wondered 'What if Hydra won?' The Framework episodes have been nothing short of a blast and have all the excitement that the other episodes have. So kudos to you Marvel Agents of Shield.

This is the first time through all the seasons, that I am on the edge of my seat the ENTIRE time. At the end of every episode, there is absoltuely the best cliffhanger. The second half of season 4 probably is the best TV series I've ever watched.
  • The 2nd half of season 4 WOW
