National Geographic Channel: Kids

My grandson thinks show is great, but I would recommend if it had all the episodes, not just some of them. Also, it needs some more facts.

For those of you who enjoyed this as kids, or owned the VHS versions, be aware that the versions you purchase here are NOT the full versions of the show. They have been considerably trimmed down - each episode is missing a good 10-20 minutes of the originally aired material, including songs and segments.

Our kids (2&4) love these shows. They might be a little dated, but the kids don't notice. Great change of pace from the usual cartoons, and they've actually learned about the animals.

We just started watching this show with our kids (1 & 3) and the whole family enjoys it. Educational, lots of animals obviously and dated music my kids love.

this show originally aired from 93-97, so it is very dated. the graphics, the animation, the songs feel more like they are from the 80's. watch a clip before you buy.

My 4 year old loved this video. He has 5 of them and so far this was his favorite. He is learning a lot from the series!

We take these on trips, along with Thomas and Bob the Builder. My kids prefer NGKids, hands down, and educationally, so do I. We have had the first seven for a while, and just saw that the next six are available. We'll be downloading at the next opportunity! My kids have learned so much!

I used to watch this show when i was younger and i loved it, i stil do like it quite a bite and it is fun to watch and educational not to mention the filming whitch i LOVE!!! a great show for all ages!!!

This looks like a great show but maybe it would be helpful if the previews were more then just the same intro to the program so we parents could better judge how good this is
