The shows great and all but the price is pretty hefty mate. Try adding the 2nd season or a complete bundle at least.

They couldn't do a Back for Blood on this because they didn't have a great list of likely candadites. For modern day it would've come down to Navy Seals Vs. Somali Pirates and that has already happened. For ancient warriors it would've been hard to judge because the most possible matchup would've been 2 famous people.

This was a very great show, and now they made it even better. If you liked even a single episode from the previous two seasons, then you will love the new season. They upgraded everything, and added even more. I like that they have a bigger team now and that they now have the actual programmer of the battle simulator, Robert Daly. I also like that they added battle strategies and x-factors so it is not only about the weapons. Also, instead of leaving you almost clueless about what the warriors were like, they give you the whole backstory on them. Even better, the warriors are now well known ancient conquerers and modern fighters, instead of, like in the past, two overused ancient warriors and completely unknown or forgotten modern groups. The first two seasons were great for they were the only one of it's kind, but now they have brought that idea to a whole new level, and you can expect some great match-ups in the future.

Well everyone guess what THERE IS NO SEASON 4 spike canceled the show and is trying to keep it under wraps

The premise of this show is making objective analyses of two kinds of warriors and simulating a series of fights between them. For the sake of drama, though, they have to make each side seem roughly equal even when they are not. Consequently, this ends up presenting a lot of false information and b.s. rationalizations in order to try to balance the ratings of each side. This even goes so far as to declare the loser of a test the winner after the fact based on personal bias alone. Anyone looking for an intelligent discussion or investigation will find this show pretty frustrating and disappointing. That said, if you are just looking for simulated gore and weapons tests on fake human targets, this show delivers. Just don't expect to satisfy your intellect.

This is the best one yet

I love how far this show has come. They have gone from just testing weapons and saying which weapon is better, to studying the warriors battle strategies and plugging in who knows how many tiny variables that can have a big impact in battle. You've come a long way Deadliest Warrior, and I can't wait to see what you'll do next. I look forward to the next season.

Examples: navy seals had the better machine gun Army rangers had the better sniper rifle Theodore roosevelt had the gattling gun The mafia (though I'm not sure if you include them) had the better machine gun
