This season was a big disappointment. Just because a chef knows how to butcher a deer or cow does NOT a top chef make....

It would be very nice if tv shows were available for rental. I don't watch them a second time. I don't like them wasting space on my hard drive and I would rather not spend the time having to delete them.

I think this will be the last season of Top Chef we watch. We really disliked the last chance kitchen...if you had to have that why not make it a part of the weeks download instead of some messy little thing that had to be downloaded separately? I also don't like secrets, so another reason not to be fond of the whole idea. I hated it on Survivor, stopped watching that only to find the idea had "infected" this show. I didn't like all the moving the contestants had to do and I'm not a fan of Texas style food. And now...making us wait weeks for the finale.......well, we'll watch it, but I think that Top Chef is pretty much finished for us already. You guys had a good thing and you blew it with dumb anti-food tests and dumb format changes.

I LOVE Top Chef - if there was a Top Chef channel I'd probably never leave the house. But . . . this Texas season is just so contrived and annoying. I'm not sure what I dislike the most - the continuous plugs for Texas (tourism?!) or the endless downhome Texas elimination challenges. BBQ. Texas beef. Game Night. Ok, we get it - they love their meat in Texas - now can we move on to the old format where we get more original challenges?! The only interesting challenge this season was the one with Charlize Theron - and notice how the judges all agree that they did their best cooking for her challenge. Duh! They are chefs - let them do something other than cooking meat and getting so tired from heat and being up all night that they collapse and have to be rushed to the hospital. Dudes, we are paying good money to see some freakin good cooking not to see people pass out over hot coals. Also, way too much product placement - over the top and annoying. And the scene every week where the eliminated chefs get their second chance note back at the house is so obviously staged - if they have to stage this scene then why show it at all? As a side note, the best Top Chef moment ever for me was seeing Heather getting the boot. Thank you and Hallelujah!!

I live overseas and we use iTunes to watch our favorite shows from back home instead of waiting and downloading from the free Internet sites we prefer to pay and do things the right way Yet, customer service for iTunes is appalling! Is there one? I work in the service industry and we read guest comments everyday and we take them very seriously, yet it seems that does not? Which I feel as an american is unacceptable! I demand that someone gets back to me from customer service o at least I can get my downloads on time and at least 24 hours from when the show airs so I don't have to see reruns of jimmy Fallon and see who the last 2 top chefs are which happened last night! unbelievable John in dubai!

This is by far the worst season of Top Chef ever conceived. The producers seems to have forgotten that it's 'all about the food' and have cooked up some of the most contrived and inane competitions that have nothing to do with cooking at all and are simply painful to watch. And this year, it is not about who can cook the best, it is about who can ski, or ride bikes through San Antonio or whatever?!? And the worst bullies of all of the seasons combined are consistently rewarded and end up in the finale…such that you could care less who wins because you just can't watch another moment. Top Chef should be ashamed!!!
