Original mean girl, Amanda Vaughn (Leslie Bibb), is forced to return home to Highland Park, Texas – land of bleach, botox and faux-tans– after her marriage ends in scandal. This was one of the best and creative shows I have seen in a long time. And it will be one of my favorites despite of its cancellations. It is amazing! Funny, witty, and charismatic. It is something that true southerners and the world would enjoy.

There are A LOT of shows the make fun of sterotypes, this one is no differant. One lady here says if it was about gay people or coloured people it would be unacceptable? .... every show sterotypes, sex in the city (single ladies) or will & grace or mordern family (rich people & gay people) christains are people too, this is harmless cute fun lighten up and giggle, its not meant to be serious.

I live in Dallas and love how it just lampoons the south and all their hypocritical ways. I wish it had continued. Loved the characters, the comedy and satire. Come on back GCB on Lifetime, etc !!

One of the best shows there was! Desperate housewives meets big rich Texas! My husband actually found a show he could stand watching with me where the plot didn't bore him. So sad they cancelled the show. If NBC can bring back Chuck then ABC can bring back the GCB!

Prior to the first episode of All In The Family, they issued a disclaimer. It said that by making fun of certain subjects, they hoped to break down some of the barriers between the people. I see no difference between the, till then, Taboo subjects exposed on All in the Family than the ones of hypocracy and nit picking done on GCB. The first few episodes of Star Trek, the Next Generation had an cast that was stiff and unsure of itself. Patrick Stewart did not unpack his bags until after they filmed the 4th episode. He was sure they would not like his efforts. I truly hope they renew this show for years.
