I love King Charles, but I can't wait until he releases a new album after he finds love again. That is when he plays his best music! This album is great but not upbeat like his last. You can tell there is a lot of heart ache in this one.

I can't believe how far down the list this album was for new releases. Easily the best album released this week. I don't know why, but i really like King Charles. The downside is, it's not 1/2 as good as Love Blood and Isabel. They lost the breezy and bouncy summer feel that really paired well with the vocals.

I think this is what is referred to as the Sophomore Slump. King Charles wowed me with his first EP and follow-up album. It was quirky as hell; a pop gem with the eclecticism of Prince. But this? It sounds like an album that King Charles’ father would produce: Conservative, slow, no real hooks that make one want to hit “replay.” You can definitely hear the new Mumford & Sons vibe.
This isn't POP but I love it.
