Not special as I previously found their music. Style somewhat changed.

The people giving poor ratings because the ladies are no longer there? Makes absolutely no sense to me. The band and this album are still doing what they do best. Keep it up fellas.

This album is so disappointing and empty. The group has lost potency without jade :(

I find this album stellar, even though the ladies are no longer with the band. Hot Coals is an amazing song.

I had always thought that Mr. Sharpe and company did a lot of hit and missing on their albums, I also imagine that the constant touring and partying, not being insanely rich caught up with the girls and they left. This album here is their best one for who they are so far and I imagine that this whole thing live is incredible. This is magnetic knuckleheads firing on all ten plus cylinders, they let their hipster flag fly from beginning to end. No off kilter toons, no out of place songs, no dead in the water melodies, it’s perfection from beginning to end.

This album, first and foremost, is wonderful. Many a thing has changed recently for this band, and they've grown from it a lot it seems. Their sound has always been eclectic and beautiful, but this album is on another level. The instrumentals are more varied and intricate, smarter even. Each person has contributed equally and it's heard. The result is a unified and harmonious sound. The Magnetic Zeroes and here again and with a sound of togetherness.

I love Edward sharpe. But changing the sound wasn't all so good. The lyrics are still fire! But I don't like the music too much. A few stand out, however just not the same.
