This is what I've been waiting on. A crisp, pure, serving of authentic hip hop. Gensu dean has definitely outdone himself with this one. Melinated, elevated, music at its finest. One of the dopest albums this year. I'm excited to see what's next. I urge everyone to purchase, and partake of the well of "Refined Alkaline Water."

I've followed Gensu Dean's work since the MySpace days, and with every new production credit to his name I've become more and more of a fan. In 2016 finding hiphop of this texture and caliber happens very far and few between. "R.A.W" exemplifies exactly why I fell in love with hiphop in the first place. It's pure ("Dreams"), rugged ("Blocked By Fear"), funny ("Blow"), thought provoking ("R.A.W"), experimental ("Where Is The Love"), and still braggadocios ("Ball of Yarn"). If you thirst for a LP that still abides by the "Principles and Codes" of the hiphop culture, then get some Refined Alkaline Water... drink up.
