Who IS this guy?? Jordan T is a powerhouse of sound, joy, and island vibe. Don't mistake him for your typical reggae guy mimicking Marley or just the latest thing on the radio when you hit the islands. Jordan T's music and his message are focused on bringing aloha to humanity, on bringing excellence of musicicality to a simplified genre, and bringing us all together under "the vibe" of goodness, harmony, and love, all amidst and in spite of the plentiful world of dischord, bitterness, and cynisism. Jordan T is a beautiful man inside and out, all of which is strung through his music and embraced by his fans.
Jordan T's music involves Jordan's thorough study of theory and voice at Biola University where he sang opera in the daytime while developing his own sound in the evenings at student clubs and homes. With his own early skills on the guitar and ukulele as his songwriting platform, Jordan began writing songs and playing them for friends in high school and college, earning the well-deserved credit and encouragement of his own community. Jordan not only undertook a wide study of music, he also studied the roots of his parents, drawing musical influence from their unique ethnic backgrounds. The result: forget the 1-6-4-5 or standard 2-5-1 patterns. But above it all, Jordan's incredible voice is the engine which powers his music. Simply unreal.
If there was ever a young musician the world would want to support, this is that guy. They just need to hear him.
And as good as this album is, from it's song choice and flow to it's mastering, there's simply nothing like seeing Jordan T performing live.
