Master of Puppets definitely is the best song by far. Battery is also pretty good. The only reason I got into the song was probably from Stranger Things 4.

I already owned the regular version but bought this “remastered” version because the sound clips sounded better/louder. But once I downloaded it, I noticed that it was the exact same version as the one I had before. They just tricked me into buying it again.

I’ve been listening to Metallica for a long time, and this has gotta be their best album. The guitar solo in “Master of Puppets” blew me away the first time I heard it. In addition, it always makes me wanna learn to play the electric guitar myself! The other songs on the album like “Battery” and “Welcome Home” are pretty good too, I love listening to James Hetfield’s voice and Kirk Hammett’s guitar at the same time. Great album for recent Metallica fans. Buy, you won’t regret it!

People may say, the black album was their best. NO! It’s Master of Puppets or Ride The Lighting, but it’s Master of Puppets and it will always be!! (The Black Album is a very good album tho) \m/

‘86 twas a good year for thrash metal. This one, Reign in Blood, and Peace Sells came out of nowhere and their quality holds up darn well today. Of these Master of Puppets was the leader, and a cultural achievement for heavy metal music. Pushing heaviness to an all new limit, and expanding upon Ride the Lightning’s literally shocking developments, MOP remains Metallica’s magnum opus for many, although I am quite partial to Lightning myself. The Thing that Should Not Be is in my opinion this album’s greatest track in an already classic set list. Can you name any other song in 1986 this crushing? It and Sad But True off the self titled are my personal favorite Metallica songs because of their crushing grind. The rest ain’t bad either, but I do feel the title track is overrated just a little and overplayed too. It’s still an amazing song but it’s been used to death in modern media and it’s everywhere! MOP is not my favorite Metallica album, but it cannot be denied of its seismic influence in the pushback against mainstream ideals and music that ultimately led to new subgenres of metal and even led to the explosion of grunge in a way. There’s a reason why it’s so revered, and no heavy metal collection should be without this album and Ride the Lightning. I like all of Metallica’s albums, but the two punch of RTL and MOP i think is the most impressive and important moment in Metallica and heavy metal itself’s evolution.
