Johnny Mathis Sings the Great New American Songbook

I have been listening to Jonny for more than 5 decades and I truly believe this is the best one yet.

So glad that after all these years, his voice is still so smooth. I honestly think he could sing the phone book(do they still make them?) and I would buy it! Hugs to my reliable JM

My wife can't stop playing her new Johnny Mathis CD since she received it. She loves it. Hope he receives a Grammy for it.

I can remember watching The Tonight Show about a million years ago. Johnny was talking with Mr. Carson, who asked: when do you think your voice will peak? Johnny said: it already has. Maybe so. But how lucky we are that the descent from the peak has been so incredibly slow. Mr. Mathis has been singing longer than I’ve been alive, and I’m so grateful that I’ve been able to enjoy his talent for these many years. As for this album, believe it or not, this is a very good effort and will not disappoint. Thanks Johnny.

I was hoping for his distinctive voice to grace a song by American Music Club, written by Mark Eitzel. It's called "Johnny Mathis' Feet." Maybe Vol. 2?
