Perfect

It’s far from the sprawling, epic Pure Comedy, but it’s the perfect follow up. Tight production, lean songwriting, it’s definitely the least Father John Misty album, it’s much more Josh Tillman on a bender in a hotel. I have been a fan since Fear Fun, if you you have too, buy this. It is essentially the yang to I Love You Honeybears ying.

Absolutely loved his first two efforts. It seemed like he really had something to say and it was lyrically brilliant His third and this one? Not so much. Now he just sounds a little whiny and self indulgent.
Oh wow.

This record made me cry my sorry eyeballs out whilst I was drunk on wine at four in the morning, lamenting a failed love venture and the struggles of my own songwriting career. Thanks Father John!
Yyyy

He's just so cool. If you're 13 and can't grow up.

Haven’t heard of Misty, but very unique and one of a kind. I hope music heads in this direction!
